Reflecting today 

Solemn in some ways…

At the loss of life

Those who died at the hand of evil

They were caught, unaware by terror

Going about their business

And yet, they never knew

How could this be?

For in America, we are free

But there are those who hate

What we stand for

Truth, liberty, justice for all

The foundation, one nation under God

And yet in schools, and places,

this grace of prayer is not allowed

What has happened to us?…

Our Lord, Jesus, excluded….

Not included, in the ceremonies….

Even today ten years after in commemorating this sad anniversary

Some in power deny the presence….

Of Gods people, the clergy…

Or even those who served, fire and police….

So is this what we have become ten years after?

An insult to those who die daily for our rights,

Our soldiers, have fought, for this very right….

And yet right in our sight, denied….

Its insanity, to not see

Honor, should be given to the survivors….

To the living, to the families, to the clergy, to those who served

But again, God is not allowed

So where will we be ten years from now?

Only Gods knows….

But to His true people He will show…

To those who cry out to him

To those, who are delivered from their sin

Jesus will return

And to those who deny him, even now

Will not be able to deny him, or His power

But by then, it will be too late…

Hell will become their fate….

You want to call it separate church and state?

Well….God is not mocked

Amidst all the talk….

You insult the HOLY one who holds your fate….

Maybe reading this, will change your mind and heart

And truth, will not depart….

Before it is too late, America wake up and see….

To be blessed and free…

America must come back, and bless God….

Before it is not allowed…..Do not lose your right…

Freedom is not free….

Unless you allow God, America, in every public place….

You lose your freedom, and Gods grace….

God is going to answer my prayer…

Sent to heaven there

It is manifested to me here

I have vision

Not an optical illusion

I can see it 

Because I decree it

In the name of Jesus 

The name above all names

Gives me authority to claim it

No devil, or demon can stop it

Unless I allow it

And doubt….

Then I would go without…

No I believe!

And I cleave to the promises of the word

The word of God, that I have heard…

Yes, I know God, is going to answer my prayer…

It is coming to me, right now, right here…

With thanks, I receive….

The blessing, the prayer, the answer 

Is within reach to me. Oh how beautiful

That which I see…

For it is in the name of Jesus, that I decree it to be….

I have vision to see it be…

And what joy it brings to me…

For the outcome brings glory

To my King….

God has answered me!

Thank You Lord Jesus

Thank you Lord Jesus

For all that  you have done for us

Today, on this good Friday

I am reminded of your sacrifice

That on this day, you gave of your life

That you went on the cross

and took the loss

You took my sins, that darkness within

You set me free, for now and eternity

Each stripe that you did take

You did for my soul sake

You took my infirmities

Healing me….

For now and eternity

I need to see, and this gratefully,

It is you Lord, in this who deserves all glory

All Honor and all Praise

For the rest of my life, in all my days

I want to find a way

To bless you as well…..

For Delivering this soul from torturous hell

For making a way

As I seek you and pray

Lord, for all that you have done

The true Son of God alone

In your mercy and compassion you have shown

How great and wonderful your love is for all

You made a way, so we would not fall

If we only seek you and call on your name

We can live, for you do forgive

Delivered from shame

Lord, words are truly not enough

To express this love

That I feel

This emotion, comes with devotion

For as I look to the cross and see

I bow down, on bended knee

And hope you see

I am grateful, for now and eternity…..

For in thankful revelation

Father, truly I thank you and praise you.

For your sacrifice of love and compassion

you took for my soul, and for all who would seek

you.  As a way, into Gods Kingdom.

You are the lamb of God, who takes the

sins of the world…The great

lion of Judah.  Someday you will

return, and all will bow, and confess, that you

are Lord.  Thank you for taking

the keys from the enemy, for our souls.

For we all sin, and come short of your

glory.  I know, you are truly the son

of God, and I just thank you and praise you.

In your precious name, our Lord Jesus

Thank you.

I know, because I am a life changed.  The life
I once lived, was dead.  No true joy, I was lost.
But there is life, when we believe and know you.

Everytime, I get to see a sunset from an ocean view....I am thankful

My dear friend Ruth Devens wrote this….it so surprised me, to receive it.  But what a blessing it is….I am sharing it, so others can be blessed by it, and that you can sense the anointing of it…..

THANKFUL

Father, I come thankful for this beautiful day

For your spirit that guides me along the way

For the sunshine upon my face

For your love, mercy and grace

For the warm, gentle breeze

For your ear that listens to my pleas

For the birds that sing without a care

For your gifts you so freely share

For the sky so blue and the grass so green

For your gentle shoulders you allow me to lean

For the flowers and their beautiful essence

For the privilege of your mighty presence

Welcome Father, I welcome you son

I welcome the trinity all in one

Come today Lord, we are all in need

Forgive us our sins of pride and greed

We lay all our worries and fear at your feet

Knowing all is supplied for our needs you meet

You hold us in the palm of your hand

We seek you Lord to heal our land

I’m watching a flag blowing so free

We all need to be down on our knee

Lord we stand up for you, The great king of kings

Creator of all, including the eagle’s wings

May this nation soar and rise above

May you fill us all with your love

May we once again, stand tall and strong

Being under you, right where we belong

Thank you Lord, I come with much praise

Giving glory to you, for all of my days

I want my words within your heart

You’ve known this from the very start

My words are true and faithful, my words will never change

Yet you act as though they are something strange

This is not new, my commandments are real

I’m not here to make any deal

It is my way and no other

Remember I stick closer than a brother

You have more strength than you believe

Open up to me and freely receive

I come in my power and my might

Walk in your faith and not by your sight

Stand up and give all glory to me

I in turn will help you to see

You have my power, you have my might

Walk by faith and not by sight

Chase the enemy, he will flee

Trust me now, believe in me

I’m about to open doors that no man can shut

Stop with your doubting and stop with your but

But Lord this and But Lord that

I don’t want to hear you can’t

I want you all to be as one

Don’t look so gloom, have some fun

I’m alive I am not dead

Shake off those feelings of all that dread

There is power in this house, I’ve told you all along

Now worship me and sing me a song

There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the lamb

Bless my name says the great I Am

If you would only let go

Every seed you have sown is sure to grow

You give me things then take them back

Then you wonder why you lack

You should not be lacking anything

Not when you serve the mighty king

I can do anything just believe

I want you daily with me to cleave

Start each day by saying hello

You’ll see how fast you get to know

You’ll know the load you thought you couldn’t bear

Is a little lighter when with me you share

I’ve always wanted to give you my best

To give you joy with peace and rest

You’ll know with me it can be done

Because of me the victory has been won

You’ll know I have your loved ones in my grip

I’ll pick them up when they tumble and slip

The prayers of the righteous availeth much

It won’t be long, they’ll feel my touch

Once they finally let me in

I’m here to free them from their sin

Continue daily pleading my blood

When they let go, I’ll come in like a flood

Washing and cleansing, I’ll make them pure white

I know you could picture such a beautiful sight

It’s your faith that I’m seeing so press on

Giving glory to me from dusk to dawn

This word, by Pastor Rich Huston, spoken at church last Sunday inspired me.  To write another Poetry of Hope…..

I call it Perserverance…

Lord, give me this chance

To Persevere

While I am here…

Not merely to survive

But to thrive

Alive

Living abundantly because Christ lives in me

The certainty of your promises causes me to live with more

Not less….

Making my life a success

Never to wonder or guess who I am

I can, understand, your plan

Pushing on, a Battle won

Learning, imitating Christs ability

To set me free, I must see

Beyond my circumstance

Gaining Persevererance

Steadfast, Immovable

Always abounding in the work of the Lord

Being in him, in one accord

Not persuaded to give up

Holding on taking a grip

In this life….a trip

With my lips I speak and seek

Thy Holy word, Knowing Lord, you have heard

Being confident

To this you have sent

Hold true

Gaining perseverance to meet the goal

Stronger my soul

Don’t let go you will know as you pray…

God loves you, this very day

In every way

Persevere

God is with you right now….

Right here..

Sharing a secret from one old doll to another....

I felt inspired by the Holy spirit to write this…I suppose, because I know I am no longer a young girl but an older woman.  And married.  But this could have been me….If I had not found Jesus.

Society calls those older single ladies, “cougars.”  This is what the urban dictionarys definition of a cougar.  see also hunt, prowl, corner, pounce). Noun. A 35+ year old female who is on the “hunt” for a much younger, energetic, willing-to-do-anything male. The cougar can frequently be seen in a padded bra, cleavage exposed, propped up against a swanky bar in San Francisco (or other cities)waiting, watching, calculating; gearing up to sink her claws into an innocent young and strapping buck who happens to cross her path. “Man is cougar’s number one prey”

But as I see it, I see her, selling herself short.  I felt like the Lord, wanted me to call them ”Old Dolls”  And I see her, sitting, in a bar.  Lonely, and wanting love, looking for it in all the wrong places.  Not knowing, that in Christ, and his love, that she would be one, that he sets free.  She feels like life has passed her by.  That she missed the boat, the plane, or the train….And she is stuck.

I suppose, I could have been a cougar.  I thank him, for delivering me from that life.  For I did start out that way.  Looking for love, in the wrong places.  Making many mistakes in my youth.  But he did change me first and then he brought me my husband, and since the beginning, we have built our marriage, and relationship on Gods ways…And it has never failed….

Old doll

The gentlemen do not call

Just snakes in the grass

And you see that through a dimly lit glass

Sitting, waiting for the loneliness to pass

Constant in your yearning

Too old you think to begin learning

In a place of no pity

In small town, or large  city

Yet you long for change

For something to begin to rearrange

Before it would be too late

Discovering your fate

If you stay where you are

For True love seems so far

You missed Prnce charming

Disarmming yourself

By giving yourself away

Wanting now to pray…

Not knowing where to begin

There is all this sin

This sadness, darkness within….

Once hearing of Jesus…

And how he took the curse for all of us

Not wanting to be tossed to and fro…

If only, you could find the door

To so much more….

You could have been me

If I did not see….

With new eyes to see

God could forgive me

I share with you a secret

For I know and have met

My savior

One who did care….

Who did not leave me alone

And not by phone…Did he make his presence known

It happened, by looking within….

Asking Jesus to cleanse me of my sin

On my knees I went to him and did repent

And with that a blessing he has sent

Old doll

Jesus is calling you one more time

The crime will be,

If you do not answer

With your heart….

And let this moment part

Without giving him your pain

So you can gain

Your dignity, once and for all

Free

And for eternity…

Come what may

You do pray….

And your life changes

This very day….

Father, in the name of Jesus.  I pray for the old doll…I pray, for her life to be renewed, even now, restored.  Cancelling the plan of the enemy in this.  That she would find true love.  A second, or third chance….just as you gave me.  For you truly changed my life.  And I pray it for this lady as well. Things can change.  Give her hope, and give her a renewed sense, that you love her.  Take her out of that environment.  Of darkness, into your light.  In Jesus name.  Amen

DO NOT BE AFRAID, YOU WILL NOT SUFFER SHAME.  DO NOT FEAR DISGRACE, YOU WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED.  YOU WILL FORGET THE SHAME OF YOUR YOUTH AND REMEMBER NO MORE THE REPREACH OF YOUR WIDOWHOOD.  FOR YOUR MAKER IS YOUR HUSBAND THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS HIS NAME.  THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL IS YOUR REDEEMER.  HE IS CALLED THE GOD OF ALL THE EARTH.  THE LORD WILL CALL YOU BACK AS IF YOU WERE A WIFE DESERTED AND DISTRESSED IN SPIRIT.  A WIFE WHO MARRIED YOUNG.  ONLY TO BE REJECTED SAYS YOUR GOD.  FOR A BRIEF MOMENT I ABANDONED YOU.  BUT WITH DEEP COMPASSION I WILL BRING YOU BACK.  IN A SURGE OF ANGER I HID MY FACE FROM YOU FOR A MOMENT,  BUT WITH EVERLASTING KINDNESS, I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON YOU…SAYS THE LORD YOUR REDEEMER.  ISAIAH 54:4-8
